This is a great topic to consider. I hadn’t put much thought before, into how exactly I go about making the space, to therein begin creating.
Sub consciously the cogs and gears in my creative frontal lobes jolt to work when my body goes into everyday auto pilot tasks. Driving, cleaning and surfing are all freeing activities for my mind.
The shower for me is a hub for new ideas to flood and flow through my imagination or sitting on the toilet, perhaps too much information for you? Well there’s usually no one or thing to bother you there.
However the one place I consciously choose for my cake of space is none other than my trusty red hammock. No need for the pressure of pad or pen, the gentle rocking and smattering of sun rays through the peppy leaves dissolves any resistance and troubles that are tensing up my super good creative awesomeness. (Hamock) Rock on.
How do you give yourself the space necessary to create?
